Uncle Gee!

So a few years back Brett and I took a trip to San Fransisco to visit my parents to visit my moms brothers. Both of my uncles had lived there for a while and fell in love with a little tea store in China Town. They went there so often the owner became a very good friend- to them he was Uncle Gee! Always there to give them advise, some great stories, and of course some great tea! So a few years back when we came to visit they couldn't wait to take us to visit their friend Uncle Gee! He was SO funny. Very old school but very funny! He told us so many stories-I think we spent more of our vacation with him than we did sight seeing in San Fransisco! :)  Brett and I were newly engaged and he was all set and ready to give us advise on how to have a happy and successful marriage- And of course every problem we would ever come across in our lives could be solved with a tea and a splash of sugar leaf! He was so fun! After trying so many different teas (we literally were sick after all of the caffeine intake) we got a tour of the store and the huge storage area, took some pictures with Uncle Gee and he sent us home with bags and bags tea to take home! It was a great experience... well many years later my moms other brother, our guncles took a trip into China town a low and behold guess what they seen on Uncle Gee's wall... OUR PICTURE! So many years later and he still have us up on his wall! Brett and I have been sitting here all night reminiscing about that trip and how wonderful Uncle Gee was to us! It just goes to show how some people you come across in the most random places stay with you forever! Hopefully some day we get to go back to San Fransisco and visit Uncle Gee again soon!

Thank you for sharing this picture with us guncles! It was a great blast from the past!
