Skyline Drive

This morning we took the SkyLine Drive from Bountiful to Farmington across the mountain range just up from our apartment. I have wanted to take this drive for a while and we finally had the free time to do it! It is beautiful up there! If you have a free afternoon I highly recommend it! We were able to see some beautiful flowers and enjoy a nice picnic without all the heat! Duke loved it! I think he could have ran and played up there all day if we would have let him!

Pioneer Weekend FUN!

This weekend was Pioneer Day (July 24th)in Utah and boy did we stay busy. We had a BBQ and fireworks with Brett’s family Thursday night, fireworks with cousins and friends the next night, and then a BBQ and hot-tubbing Saturday night with my parents. It was a fun weekend and defiantly relaxing! We have been so busy lately it was nice to wake up when we wanted and go play for as long as we wanted when we wanted! Unfortunately I forgot my camera all weekend so we have no pictures but I promise it was a lot of fun! :)

SURPRISE!

This last Friday I hit the road and headed to Wyoming for my Uncle Kelly’s Surprise 50th Birthday Party! Brett had to work this weekend so I drove down with my sister and her family. We had a lot of fun! We were able to spend time with family on Friday night and then party hardy at the surprise party on Saturday! It wasn’t much of a surprise, everyone coming into town kind of gave it away but it was fun to get together and visit with family and friends we have not seen in a while! Swimming and Sun- - - what more can you ask for!

Bear Lake- Part II

Were just going to buy a house in Bear Lake! We’ve spent the last two weekends their so were starting to feel like it’s our home away from home! Last weekend we went with Brett’s cousins for some wild and crazy Fourth of July fun and this past weekend we went on the annually camping trip with my mom’s side of the family! It was a lot of fun! We stayed at the local KOA there in Garden City so we had plenty of stuff to do… we played horseshoes, went swimming, rode crazy looking bikes, played with the kiddos on the jumping pillow and playground, ate lots of snow cones, and of course had some fun in the sun at the lake! We also went to a dinner theater at Pickleville Playhouse and watched Annie Get Your Gun! It was so cute! Great family fun if you need a good dinner idea for family and friends! We had so much fun all weekend, we literally came home yesterday and crashed!

Bear Lake- Part I

This weekend we spent the Fourth of July camping up in Bear Lake with Brett’s cousins! We only had one ER visit so it was a pretty successful trip! Let’s just say a friend took a wakeboard to the head, nine staples later we were back to fun in the sun!
