Introducing the newest member of the Evans Family...

Brett's sister Jody finally welcomed their second baby our beautiful little niece, Kendall! Just a day after Gabe's baseball game we all got the call Brett's sister had just delivered our niece! We are SO excited- another little one to cuddle and spoil! We are definitely one happy Evans Family!

Congrats to Joe, Jody, and Big Brother Collin!

A little baseball star!

This week I was able to catch our handsome little nephew's baseball game! Uncle Brett got stuck at work so Aunt Brandie rushed home from work to catch the Angels last regular season game! I am so glad I was able to catch a game before the season ended! Seriously little league games are so cute! And the best news... The Angels beat the Yankees!!! Setting them up for a great start in the playoffs! WAY TO GO ANGELS!!!

Our Little League Angel Gabe! He was such a great hitter!
The families got a baseball star on our hands!!!

Lil' Golfer

So a few weeks back I had the wonderful honor of watching my sisters little one while she enjoyed some much needed rest and relaxation- lets be honest a pedicure and a three year old really don't mix! While my sister got pampered Tayeson and I enjoyed some play time outside. Brett was getting ready to go golfing and Tayeson was so excited by all of his golf clubs. He kept telling us how much he wanted to go golfing so when my parents spotted a little set of gold clubs at a yard sell they had to get them! A few weekends later the weather finally started to cooperate and Brett was able to give Tayeson a mini golf lesson! SO FUNNY! Tayeso enjoyed his lesson until he whacked himself in the head with a golf ball... let just say after that the golf lesson was over and he was no longer interested in becoming a pro golfer!

Preparing for the lesson...

Seriously who's cuter... the teacher or the student?!?!?!?!

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!

On Saturday May 8th my mom and I were honored to participate in the Susan G. Komen Salt Lake City Race for the Cure! It was an amazing honor! So many people turned out for this fabulous event. An event that aims to find the cure for breast cancer! It was amazing to see-literally people from every walk of life turned up to show there support for this wonderful cause. This organization is very close to my heart. As I mentioned in an early post my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and since that time several of the women of my life have had a scare with this terrible disease. Although she is no longer with us my grandmother has remained a constant light of love and support in our family. A women all of us girls strive to make proud. She was a strong, independent woman who loved life and cherished her family. I was so honored to wear her name on my shirt and run in her honor. I can not wait to do it again next year! My mom and I are already planning our theme... that's right family and friends! Next year we are going all out! Team name! Shirts! Cute Outfits! And of course lots and lots of pink! We will keep you all posted on next years date! Hopefully you can all join us and help us race for the cure!

My amazing husband and I.
Nothing better than your dad and hubby cheering you on!

Mom and I at the end of the race!

The finish line!WAY TO GO!

Seriously SO many people! Men, women, and children! Everywhere you looked PINK!

SO Cute!

Last month at craft class we made one of my favorite projects! This adorably, cute arrangement of paper flowers! We were given the choice on what colors we would like to use so in anticipation of a home purchase I decided to go with reds, blacks, and whites which will match the cute little room set Brett and I purchased for our future guest room! It was the easiest project every, a little time consuming but I swear the end project was TOTALLY worth it! I seriously love how it turned out!

If you are interested in signing up for an amazing Saturday let me know! Country Bum Creations has an amazing craft class held every third Saturday each month. You will love it! You will walk away with cute and affordable projects just like these!
